All children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads. In Omaha, too many children go without a bed—or even a pillow—to sleep on. These children end up sleeping on couches, blankets, and even floors. This can affect their happiness and their health.
That’s where Sleep in Heavenly Peace comes in. They are a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need.
This holiday season, the Nitehawks will be supporting this non profit by collecting new Twin size sheet and comforter sets as well as spending Saturday December 22nd build and make beds for 75-125 children in need.
For more information on the event, or to volunteer, please see https://www.facebook.com/events/268976870410563/?ti=cl

If you have a new Twin sheet or comforter set you would like to donate, we have pick up/drop off locations in Lincoln, Bellevue and West Omaha. We would love to collect these by Saturday December 22nd to be able to help the maximum about of children this day. Please email Director@ne-nitehawks.com if you would like to donate bedding to arrange drop off or pick up.

UPDATE:
The Nite Hawks volunteered to help Sleep in Heavenly Peace - NE, Omaha get 65 kids in beds and off the ground! This was a very rewarding experience and it was great to see the smiles on the children's faces as they climbed into their new beds.
