Nite Hawks Player Named to Women's Football Hall of Fame Roster

It is our honor to announce that one of our own Nite Hawk players has been invited to attend the Women's Football Hall of Fame weekend in Las Vegas, NV in December.

This event includes 3 full days of practice, run by some of the top coach's in Women's Professional Football. On November 30th, a Hall of Fame Inductee Banquet will be held at Boulder Station Casino. The weekend is then concluded by a compatriot came of East vs West players.

Cindy Pearson, Wahoo, NE, is well deserving of this honor, as she is one of the few trailblazers who started playing tackle football as a child. Since her days of Pop Warner and High School football, she has played for the Iowa Crush, Iowa Thunder and the former Nebraska Stampede. Cindy has played a variety of positions during her career, but will be playing LB for the Hall of Fame West team. One of Cindy's most memorable football moments was when she had the privilege of playing during Half Time of a St. Louis Rams vs Packers game. Her team, the Iowa Thunder, was invited to play by the St. Louis Slam. A picture of Cindy's back on the Jumbo-tron is shown in the photos below.

The Nite Hawks want to congratulate Cindy as well as all the other players invited to be part of this historic weekend. We are proud to have you as a Hawk. We will follow her journey over this weekend and will make sure to post photos and video for all to view.
